A Complete List of Peers with Territorial Designations Outside the UK

A rather fortuitous freedom of information request to the House of Lords has led me to be in possession of this list of those Members of the House of Lords with territorial designations outside the United Kingdom, just as all the talk still centres on the Lord Lebedev, whose designation includes Siberia, of all places. This information could no doubt be garnered from public sources with painstaking work, but I rather thought I would make things easier. This is sort of legal style, inasmuch as it deals with styles and titles of the people who, in part, make our laws. Please note, peers marked with an asterisk are hereditary peers.

  1. Annoyingly, this is the incorrect name of the State; it is in fact, the Federal Republic of Nigeria! However, this is the format in which the House sent me the information, and therefore, I have no choice but to print it as such.↩︎
